2. Nature of Our Services
Mavorin offers reading-led educational programmes and discussion workshops on topics related to personal finance vocabulary, pension scheme documentation, and household financial language. All programmes are educational in nature.
Nothing communicated, published, or discussed in the course of our programmes constitutes financial advice, investment advice, insurance advice, legal advice, or any form of regulated advisory service. Participants are responsible for their own financial decisions and should seek qualified professional advice where appropriate.
3. Eligibility
Our programmes are designed for adults. Specific age requirements apply to individual programmes:
- The Pension Landscape Reading Programme and Insurance Vocabulary Reading Workshop are open to adults aged 40 and above.
- The Late-Career Finance Reading Circle is designed for adults aged 50 to 62.
By enrolling, you confirm that you meet the age eligibility criteria for the programme selected.
4. Enrolment and Booking
Enrolment is confirmed once we have received your completed enquiry or booking form and, where applicable, full payment of the programme fee. Places are limited by cohort size and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
We will send a confirmation of your enrolment by email to the address you provide. Please ensure your contact details are accurate at the time of booking.

All fees are quoted in Singapore dollars and are inclusive of applicable GST where relevant. Payment details will be provided upon confirmation of your enrolment. We reserve the right to revise programme fees for future cohorts with reasonable notice.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellation by participant
- Cancellations made fourteen or more days before the programme start date will receive a full refund less any administrative handling costs.
- Cancellations made between seven and thirteen days before the start date will receive a fifty percent refund.
- Cancellations made within six days of the programme start date are non-refundable.
Cancellation by Mavorin
- If we cancel a programme for any reason, registered participants will receive a full refund of fees paid.
- If a session is rescheduled (rather than cancelled), we will offer participants the option to attend the rescheduled session or receive a proportionate credit.
Refund requests should be submitted in writing to [email protected].
7. Programme Conduct and Participation
Participants are expected to engage with pre-distributed reading materials in advance of each session, and to conduct themselves in a manner that is respectful of other cohort members and facilitators.
We reserve the right to exclude any participant from a programme if their conduct is disruptive, disrespectful, or otherwise inconsistent with the educational environment we aim to maintain. In such circumstances, no refund will be offered.
8. Intellectual Property
All materials distributed as part of our programmes — including printed binders, glossary cards, cohort newsletters, and digital documents — are the intellectual property of Mavorin and are licensed to participants for personal educational use only.
Participants may not reproduce, distribute, transmit, or commercially exploit programme materials without our prior written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under Singapore law, Mavorin's liability in connection with any programme or this website is limited to the amount of programme fees paid by the participant in respect of the relevant programme.
We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from participation in our programmes, the use of programme materials, or reliance on any information discussed in a session. This limitation reflects the purely educational nature of our services.
10. Disclaimer of Advisory Responsibility
Programme content is drawn from publicly available documentation and is intended solely to build familiarity with financial vocabulary and documentation structures. Mavorin does not hold any licence to provide financial advisory, insurance advisory, or investment advisory services. Nothing in our programmes should be treated as a recommendation, endorsement, or personalised advice of any kind.
